ULTRAPURE WATER® Certification Program - Level 1

Become an ULTRAPURE WATER Certified Specialist and demonstrate your excellence in the field of High-Purity and Industrial Process Water Production.  Prove to your employer or customers that you have the skills required to professionally take care of their needs.

The ULTRAPURE WATER Certification Program provides training as it verifies competency.  Its curriculum emphasizes the correct performance of key activities.  This is a different approach than the High-Purity Water curriculum, which has a greater emphasis on theory and application.  Completion of the course program will require:

1) Completion of the Hands-On Tasks indicated within the course CD, each to be signed by a documented superior.

2) Completion of all quiz questions and interactive exercises included in the course CD.

3) Successfully passing the Certification Exam, available upon completion of the course CD.  The completion file will need to be signed by the documented superior.

4) Attendance at the 2 associated (4-hour) workshops provided at the ULTRAPURE WATER Expositions.  Contact Tall Oaks Publishing, Inc. (303-973-6700) to reserve your seat at the next workshop.

Support for the CD coursework will be provided using Discussion Board postings on the SCTC course web site.

The first of four certification program levels is now available.  Again, each level requires the completion of 2 associated (4-hour) workshops provided at the ULTRAPURE WATER Expositions and the successful completion of its associated 3-credit CD/internet course at St. Cloud Technical College.  Tuition for this course is $125.00 per credit, plus administration fees of $6.00 per credit (for a total course cost of $393.00).   The course will also require the purchase of the UPW Level 1 Certification CD for $240.00 plus shipping and applicable taxes.

The UPW Level 1 Course is independently based, relying on the course CD-ROM and the course web site to guide you through the required knowledge and activities.  You will need a documented superior to sign off on your required activities and on your passage of the course final examination.
